Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week
November 13-21, 2021 is National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week. During this week, we will focus our efforts on drawing our community’s attention to the needs of those experiencing all forms of homelessness- whether temporary, transitional, generational, and hidden.
We’re looking to partner with community members to make a difference in the lives of single women and single women with children experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in Cumberland County.
Examples include but are not limited to:
- A percentage of proceeds donated to Connections of Cumberland County
- Creation of a specialty item such as a coffee beverage or necklace where all proceeds from the purchased item are donated to Connections of Cumberland County.
- Hosting a monetary donation bin at a check-out counter.
- Managing a snack drive on behalf of clients and their children.
