Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week

November 13-21, 2021 is National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week. During this week, we will focus our efforts on drawing our community’s attention to the needs of those experiencing all forms of homelessness- whether temporary, transitional, generational, and hidden.

We’re looking to partner with community members to make a difference in the lives of single women and single women with children experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in Cumberland County.

Examples include but are not limited to:

  • A percentage of proceeds donated to Connections of Cumberland County
  • Creation of a specialty item such as a coffee beverage or necklace where all proceeds from the purchased item are donated to Connections of Cumberland County.
  • Hosting a monetary donation bin at a check-out counter.
  • Managing a snack drive on behalf of clients and their children.

The opportunities and ideas are endless so please reach out to us if you are interested in being involved. Click here to view our participation agreement.
