Connecting to Improve Lives
Connections of Cumberland County operates the only walk-in Day Resource Center with case management that serves women and children who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness. Our center collaborates with other community partners to bring a variety of services together in one easy-to-access location. We have received funding from the City of Fayetteville to provide COVID-19 relief for past due rent, mortgage and utility payments. For this funding only, Connections will be able to assist children, women and men. This is a one-time assistance program and the applicant must reside in the city of Fayetteville.
These funds are made possible through the Federal Government by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES). Connections’ hours are Tuesday-Thursday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. We prefer to accept new clients virtually to reduce volume in the Day Resource Center. If you are unable to connect virtually please contact the center. Individuals and families seeking COVID-19 resources and assistance can initiate a new client intake by visiting:
Due to a high volume of applicants we are on a waitlist. Submission of the screening form does not guarantee financial assistance. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we process an unprecedented need in our community.
