Honor and Memorial Gifts

Connections has developed an easy way to make honorarium or memorial gifts to recognize special events for your family, friends or contacts:

The following giving categories were developed for upcoming recognition opportunities.

Categories of Giving:

Champion                $50,000 and up

Collaborator               25,000 to $49,999

Connector               10,000 to 24,999

Caregiver                  5,000 to 9,999


Monetary donations are always needed to assist clients with critical or unanticipated needs and when other agencies do not or cannot provide resources for our clients.

Day Resource Center Needs

  • 4-5 wireless security cameras / software and a desktop computer for monitoring
  • Flashdrives
  • Copy paper
  • Toilet paper
  • Paper towels
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Trash bags

Educational Tools

  • Pre-school and early education workbooks
  • Grade level reading books
  • Healthy snacks/juices for clients (women, children ages 1 and up to mid-adolescence)

Hygiene and Daily Living Items

  • Feminine wipes
  • Feminine napkins/products
  • Pens/pads for notes and schedule tracking, small portfolios or calendars
  • Ponchos
  • Umbrellas

Volunteer Process

unnamed-2Volunteering at Connections can be quite rewarding. Connections relies heavily on a collaborative, volunteer-centered approach to find solutions to homelessness.

Connections has volunteer opportunities in various areas – technology, mentoring, life coaching, grant writing, fundraising, day center operations, legal, real estate, etc.
